The Imperial XL features two totally independent cooking ovens that provide unmatched ease of use. Whether you're grilling for two, or 22, it's the perfect size. The smaller oven has heavy-duty cast iron cooking grids, turning it into the perfect "searing zone" for your steaks, burgers, or anything else you want to sear and lock in the flavor. No matter what you're cooking, the Imperial XL has the capacity and versatility to do it all.
This version of the Imperial XL is powered by liquid propane, and it's also available in a natural gas model.

Extra Deep Ovens. Made from high-grade stainless steel, the Imperial XL provides excellent heat retention, heat distribution, and long lasting durability.
Massive Cooking Grids. Broil King's cooking grids deliver the best heat retention for searing power, which locks in juices and flavor. Made from cast iron, their durability and easy maintenance make them ideal for everyday use. The cast iron grids are reversible, with one side pointed to give you perfect grill marks and the other side is grooved to capture juices for continuous basting while cooking.
Flav-R-Wave. As drippings fall onto the stainless steel Flav-R-Wave cooking system, they are instantly turned into vapor, which infuses your food with that delicious barbecue flavor.
Stainless Steel Dual-Tube Burners. Broil King's patented burner technology ensures a consistent flame from front to back, providing even and efficient heat distribution at the cooking surface and eliminating hot and cold spots.
